Blackberry Playbook
Blackberry a smart phone, designed and developed by Canadian company RIM (Research in Motion) since 1999. It is seen in almost all the youngster’s hand making it a style icon apart from being a business phone.
Recently RIM announced its new version Blackberry Playbook which will be available in United States and Canada starting at 499$.
To look at feature of this playbook, it has a 7 inch wide touch screen with 1024 x 600 resolutions and weighs 400 g. It is 5.1” x 7.6” x 0.4”. It has 5MP rear facing camera and 3MP front facing camera and its HDMI port, in particular sets it ahead according to RIM information. It has a Blackberry Tablet OS powered by QNX technology which will offers full OpenGL and POSIX support alongside web standards such as HTML5. It has a 1GHz dual processor with 1GB RAM along with expandable storage till 16 GB and 32 GB. Have high definition Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
RIM seems to soon partner up with 7 digital to get 7 digital Music store pre-installed in the playbook that has over 13 million high quality MP3’s.
It is expected to launch till 10Th April 2011 and will be available in US and Canada through 20,000 retail stores. It’s a Compaq business playbook, lighter, smarter and faster with multi-tasking.
